I am the managing director at immediate future. I am a PR gal through and through. I grew up in PR with my Mum and Sister both in the business.
Bit of a sci-fi wonk too, I called my dog, Seven of Nine – which I suppose makes me a geek. PR is of course a passion, as it technology. I read anything I can find on PR and spend ours fiddling with software till I know it inside and out.
My professional biog does all the career stuff, and my linked In tells you what others think! So instead of repeating myself on this blog, below are five things you might not know about me…
- I am married with two kids – one of each kind. I spend my time out of work as an unpaid taxi driver, ferrying said kids to everything from Rugby (always pleasant meeting the under 18s team) to Brownies (always dash away in case I get roped into singing)
- I used to have a bright red Mohican, leather jacket and all the punk trimmings- a long time ago. Now my grey hair mean black hair dye and a leather jacket too small for me to get more than one arm into. Still have my Doc Martins though!
- I love white wine – used to love red but three weeks in Bordeaux and cheap plonk every day resulted in an allergic reaction to red wine
- I am a sucker for Captain Jack Sparrow, Darcy and Indiana Jones. See, I can be girly!
- I can knit, crochet and embroider. Mind you never do it these days. More likely to be messing with Photoshop or dare I say it, reading blogs.
