About this blog

Commentary (and conversation) on online PR and social media relations from opining authors at immediate future.

We want to enjoy celebrating and reflecting on the new communications adventure and somewhere along the line, we hope to find our online voice (harder than you think, when you’ve spent so much time helping others define theirs!).

Blogging is taking the communications industry by storm. It’s changing the way companies and agencies communicate, in a silent revolution founded in passionate, open and genuine two way dialogue and debate.

It seems as if everyone is on the net talking to customers, clients and employees, or building up colleague networks and sharpening partnerships.

And it’s no different for immediate future. We want to get closer to the people we connect to, be they clients or journalists, industry gurus or potential new team members. We want to influence hearts and minds and be influenced ourselves.

Our aim is not to be restricted to turgid discourse on PR or showcasing our knowledge of the digital industry - although we might just do the latter from time to time.

It’s our thoughts, views and opinions on everything and anything. From what we do and why we are passionate about it, to what really ticks us off.

You might glean tips from us or just read something we’ve learnt from a client or a journalist. But it will be real time thoughts on anything we think is worth discussing. Don’t be surprised if we tackle the joys of recruitment as well as the highs and lows of PR.

Go on - take the plunge, dive in, consume and absorb, and get tapping on that keypad with your comments.
